West African cotton

Every tee and hoodie is cut from 100% cotton grown in West Africa. Nothing blended in.

Wax made in Benin

Every piece of our wax is made in Benin, on machines built in Benin, joining traditional batik with techniques drawn from 3D printing. The garments are cut and sewn on the continent the prints come from.

Drawn in-house

We don't buy wax off the roll. Every motif is drawn by CasualWax, in a tradition of cloth that has carried names, portraits and proverbs since the nineteenth century. New motifs join the range regularly.
